When Mama and my siblings left I thought I had to take care of my father only (unfortunately for him) But turns out there are others that I'm responsible for..

My sisters' hamsters, they brought home one and she was pregnant and gave birth to three (or four?) little ones, and she started to grow big, more like a guinea pig. I have to feed those cute little creatures everyday (they are cute, except for their big fat mum).

Then there's the bunnies that I keep forgetting, until Baba asks me "did you feed them today?" and when I tell him that I forgot, he mumbles something like "that's why I don't like having pets" and goes to the kitchen to get them some food. Pretty much everyday.

Baba HATES pets, he thinks my little sisters and brother will forget them eventually and they'll die of starvation. And by the way, the bunnies eat way too much! They make me look anorexic..

So anyway I got the hamsters and Baba got the bunnies, until an hour ago when Mama called, and after she asked about me and my studying and everything,

Mama: Hind did you water the plants?

Me: Errrr, no.

Mama: *gasps as if I told her I have an incurable disease* My plants!!! I bet they got all yellow now!

Hind: *sighs* No mama they're fine..

Mama: Water them now, okay? don't forget 7beebty.. now..

Hind: I will. But what will we do when I leave?

Mama: I'll tell you what to do with them then.



On my way to get some water for Mama's nonhuman babies, I saw a little turtle swimming alone in what looks like a huge blue bowl.. So much for my pet-deprived siblings!! Where does all this come from? I'd forgotten about this turtle.. they kept reminding me - and still do- to feed the hamsters, but they didn't bother to mention that poor turtle once! So I texted my sister and asked her what to feed it, raw rice and lettuce.. ever heard of that?


Ahh I miss not taking care of anyone but myself.. those were the days..

PS, Mama you're officially a super woman! I don't know how you manage to stay sane.. I love you xx
