It was my cousin's wedding today. I woke up at 1 something pm, took a shower and headed to the salon where my mum and sisters were already there.
On my way.
I was planning to take a picture of every step of this "big day" but I got bored besides you know how is it to hold a camera in all-women places :p
Anyway, I got my hair done, then my mum insisted that I get my make-up also done there. I kept whining and telling her to pleeeease just let me do my own cause I know how hideous the results will be if they did it (I always freak out when it comes to make-up), but she won eventually, as always. Even the manager got involved (haha I'm suchhh a drama queen!) and told me that the make-up would be already simple l2anu a9lan I'm a 14-year-old. Yay thanks *with a frown*. The person number 328932 who thinks I'm this young. Anywayy they did it and the results were hideous just as I thought, only worse.. I got more whiney, more upset, more angry! o a9lan I was extremely bored cause it's been almost 6 hours o I was hungry and everything.. I went back home to change manyyy things in my make-up and went to the wedding where, surprisingly, everyone loved how I looked. So basically I made a huge fuss over nothing bs 7mdillah :p Okay enough talking about my drama.
In the wedding, two women approached me and asked me whose daughter I was o mdry aish, but just as I said the magic words "ray7a sana rab3a, ewa 6eb.." they changed the questions immediately to my younger sister, keep in mind, she's 13. But they still asked further about her. I still don't know if they're serious wla la but they asked about her name couple of times to make sure they got it right :p I told her about it when we got home o we both burst out laughing and started making jokes about it 3la 6ool.

lol I always find the "Enty men? wo bent men? wo esh tedrosy?" approach in weddings to be rather funny and completely random and even disrespectful at times. Of course, I'm not a girl so I wouldn't know. I guess that's how our society works in some forms.
From my point of view, she asked you: enty bent men? that must mean she thought you were pretty enough because unfortunately that's the main criteria we base our opinions on here. Then, when she asked you what are you studying and you said 6eb well that should've been a good thing and anyone will think "oh pretty and smart" but here female doctors and medical students are not desired at all.
